We have people on site from 9-5 weekdays for property pickup. There will be active construction so we can’t let customers in the building. Our representatives will meet you at the door to provide your property for you. Thank you for your understanding.

 Every other Tuesday Night from 6 – 8 pm is our Practical Exercise.

 

    M i s s i o n   S t a t e m e n t

Florida Firearms Academy exists because everyone needs to be educated about firearms. Our facility is focused on education and training. Because our right to own firearms is not dependent on our firearms education, we advocate the responsible ownership of firearms through education. Our mission at Florida Firearms Academy is to provide all who enter our facility with the knowledge and skills necessary for successful firearm use and ownership, achieved with safe firearm handling and the appropriate mindset.

     S e r v i c e s

We buy guns, trades encouraged. Florida Firearms Academy is an indoor range, open to the public with no membership or appointment needed. We have a large gun rental program. Retail for guns and gear. Class III dealer and builder.

     P o l i c i e s

ALL firearms must be securely encased and unloaded to enter the store and while in the store. Gun handling is for the range or while supervised by a Florida Firearms Academy Associate, ONLY. No concealed firearms in the store. We do not allow reloads of any kind. All ammunition will be inspected, EXCEPT .22 rim fire.

     A b o u t   t h e   S t o r e

Located in Tampa, Florida. Our facility is composed of four major components:

  1. Indoor Gun Range – a place to train.
  2. Retail and Rental Programs – things to try and gear to buy.
  3. Classroom – Where we start our learning process.
  4. Gunsmith and Builders – Create something or modify what you have.

Features: Air conditioned 25 yard indoor range with 12 booths accommodating rifle, pistol and shotguns.

Range Fees

  • $14 for rifle and pistol, per person with no time limit.
  • $10.50 for Law enforcement, Active military, Firefighter, EMT or Paramedics.
  • Guests of members $10.50.

There is no time limit. Fee is per person, not per lane.

Gun Rental Pricing
All guns are $10, and no time limit.
Unlimited rentals for $25 with %10 off ammo for Unlimited Rentals.
AMMO FOR RENTAL GUNS MUST BE PURCHASED FROM FFA.

Prices vary, but the average cost for a small caliber gun and one person with a box of 50 rounds costs about $30. Larger calibers average $45 and up. This includes range fee, ammo, target, gun and eye and ear protection.

PLEASE NOTE: Shotgun is limited to slug and buckshot, ONLY. Rifle calibers are limited to 300 Winchester Magnum and less, NO STEEL CORE AMMO OR ARMOR PIERCING ROUNDS. That means no “green tip” ammo.
