Gun Purchase, Trade in your old firearms for a new one

  • Gun value and trade value. Appraisals.
    • Our expert staff will assist in pricing your firearm relative to the current market value. We use multiple sources to make sure our quote is fair and accurate.
      • It is important to realize the value of a gun is between private buyers, so Florida Firearms Academy will likely not offer you full market value. However, we will make it our goal to be fair with you and the value of your gun.
      • Trading in a firearm for a new one will get you added value to your firearm. We want your used firearm, so we will give a cash value and a trade in value.
  • Consignment gun sales. 15% of final sale price.
    • An option to get the most out the value of your gun is to place the gun for sale through the Florida Firearms Academy. We take a fixed percentage of the final sale of the gun, fifteen percent (15%).
      • Certain conditions apply:
        • Consignment guns must remain in our inventory for at least 21 days. Taking the gun off consignment before the 3 weeks is up, and the consignee incurs a 15% penalty.
        • Consignee may take the gun off consignment after 21 days, without penalty. To release the gun back to the consignee, a $5 background check must be completed, as well as a form 4473 for ATF.
        • Consignee may change the price of the firearm at any time, as long as the appropriate person is available to record the price change.
        • Florida Firearms Academy has the right to refuse to sell a consignment gun based on these criteria:
          • Price is unreasonably high or low.
